Description

VASA DP401 Diamond Abrasion-Resistant Floor Hardener is an environmentally friendly, high-quality cement-based product. It is a pre-mixed powder material produced under strict quality control, utilizing high-quality cement, selected abrasion-resistant aggregates, premium fillers, and additives. It is evenly spread over the surface of freshly set concrete using a dry broadcast method. Through professional machinery and construction techniques, it forms a high-performance abrasion-resistant floor with high density and colorfulness. Due to its high compressive strength and abrasion resistance, it effectively prevents traditional cement-based floors from cracking, wearing, and generating dust.

  APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1. Concrete Base Requirements:

Reinforcement should be laid according to actual or design requirements, with a concrete design strength ≥ C25, construction thickness ≥ 5cm, and concrete slump controlled at 130±20mm. The surface should meet the flatness requirements for flooring, and there should be no bleeding during concrete construction.

2. Floor Construction:

(1) Preparation: Use a power trowel equipped with discs to uniformly remove the cement paste layer from the surface of fresh concrete.

(2) Application: Spread the abrasion-resistant material evenly on the concrete surface in two layers. After the first layer absorbs moisture from the concrete and the surface becomes slightly damp, begin the first smoothing. Use a power trowel equipped with discs to grind and disperse the material, ensuring it bonds with the concrete base without overworking. The remaining material is spread evenly for the second layer, perpendicular to the first layer, followed by the final smoothing with a trowel-equipped power trowel. Adjust the blade angle of the power trowel according to the concrete's curing time, with a crosshatch pattern applied during operation. The edges can be manually smoothed with a steel trowel to avoid visible marks.

(3) Detailing: For areas where machine polishing is inadequate, manual smoothing with a steel trowel is necessary, with more passes than machine polishing to avoid color variations.

3. Curing and Joint Cutting:

After smoothing, cover the surface with plastic film or non-woven fabric for curing. Curing should last for a minimum of 28 days. During the curing period, heavy loads and overlapping construction on the floor surface are strictly prohibited. Joint cutting should be performed 2-3 days after finishing. The depth of the joint should be one-third of the concrete thickness, filled with the required sealant.
