Description

YHPUCoat-8101 is a single-component, cold-applied, moisture-cured aromatic polyurethane waterproofing membrane. It cures to form a seamless, durable waterproofing layer, suitable for use as a base coat beneathaliphatic top coats in exposed roof areas. It is also ideal for applications under tiles, mortar protection layers, orin general non-exposed waterproofing projects such as balconies and terraces.

Application Information

Materials Consumption

Material consumption depends on the porosity and texture of the substrate. Typically, it is approximately 1.7–1.8kg/m² for a 1 mm dry film thickness.

Application Method

Surface Preparation: The surface should be solid, smooth, free of dust, no loose sand, oil, or visible water. If the surface temperature is too high or the moisture content is too low, it should be wetted with water. The accompanying white liquid is a specialized primer that can be sprayed or rolled on the surface before applying the coating to enhance adhesion.

Application: Ready to use directly from the bucket. It can be applied by rolling, spraying, or brushing. Apply 2-4 coats according to the designed thickness, ensuring even coverage with no omissions.
