APPLICATION PROCEDURE
· Substrate Treatment
Thoroughly clean the substrate from dust, oil, and any protruding or loose parts. Remove any defects with mortar, ensuring no cracking or hollowing. Fully wet the substrate with clean water, but avoid standing water.
· Mortar Preparation
Refer to the packaging certificate for the correct amount of water.
Add water to the mixing bucket first, then gradually add the powder while mechanically stirring until a uniform, lump-free paste is formed. The prepared mortar must be used within 1 hour, and it is prohibited to add water again during use.
· Application of Mortar
a. Apply a single layer thickness of 2mm to 4mm.
b. Depending on the required thickness, apply the mortar in multiple layers. Allow the first layer to harden before applying the next.
c. After the final layer hardens, perform water curing for at least 7 days.
d. Ensure the total thickness of the final mortar layer is not less than the design thickness.
CAUTIONS
· Use the prepared mortar within 1 hour.
· Do not add water to re-mix the initially set mortar.
· The construction temperature should be between 5-35℃. Avoid high temperatures, frost, and wind speeds above grade 5 during construction.
· Clean mixing tools before and after use.
· Avoid direct sunlight during application to prevent rapid loss of water and reduced strength.
