Description

YHCoolRoof-2020BR waterproofing membrane is composed of two waterproofing materials—an aggressive butyl-based adhesive backed by a layer of high quality of fluorocarbon laminated film. The unique advanced adhesive formulation offers premium adhesion to the roof deck, high quality laps, superior seal around roofing fasteners, and outstanding high temperature stability. The adhesive is backed by a protective plastic release liner that protects its adhesive quality. The release liner is easily removed allowing the adhesive to be bonded tightly to the roof deck.

Application Instructions

· Substrate preparation：The surface must be cleaned and should be solid, flat, dry, and free of debris, dust, dirt, loose nails, or old roofing materials. Protrusions on the deck must be removed. Ensure the deck has no voids, damaged areas, or unsupported sections. Repair any such areas before installing the membrane.

· Detailing：Additional layers should be applied to treat inside and outside corners, pipe penetrations, gutters, deformation joints, and other critical areas. Use pre-cut membranes of suitable size and shape to ensure proper coverage and adhesion on these surfaces.

· Membrane installation: Peel back the release liner, align the membrane, and continue to remove the release liner as you progress. Press the membrane firmly into place using heavy hand pressure to ensure proper adhesion. Ensure side laps and end laps are a minimum of 80 mm. Always work from the low point to the high point of the roof during installation. roof.
