APPLICATION PROCEDURE
· Substrate Treatment
(1)The substrate should be solid and clean, free from cracks, dust, oil stains, seepage, and hollowing. Any cavities or depressions should be filled and leveled with this product beforehand.
(2)At the junctions of different substrates, reinforce with alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh with a width of no less than 250mm and an overlap of no less than 100mm on each substrate.
(3)Before application, thoroughly moisten the substrate with water. Allow the surface to dry without standing water before applying the mortar.
· Mortar Mixing
Add the specified amount of water (as indicated on the certificate of conformity) to the mixing bucket first, then slowly add the powder while stirring quickly with a mixer until uniformly mixed. Let the mixture stand for 3 minutes, then stir again for 10-15 seconds before use. The prepared mortar must be used within 1 hour. Do not add water to re-mix hardened mortar.
· Leveling Application
(1)Setting Screeds:Before leveling, set screeds on the wall. For walls less than 3.5 meters high, use vertical screeds with a spacing of no more than 1.5 meters. For walls over 3.5 meters high, use horizontal screeds with a spacing of no more than 2 meters.
(2)Manual Plastering:For large areas, apply in layers, starting with edges and then covering the larger area. Each layer should be slightly thicker (1-2mm) than the screeds. Use a straightedge to smooth out the surface from bottom to top. The thickness of a single application should be 3-10mm.
(3)Curing:After the mortar has set and hardened (24 hours at room temperature), keep the surface moist with water for at least 3 days.
· Surface Decoration
Grain of Midongshi: Apply a uniform layer of the mortar (2-3mm thick) with a trowel at a 45°-60° angle. Once the surface shows no significant moisture sheen, use the short edge of the trowel to create the desired texture, maintaining an 80°-90° angle with the wall. Finish by smoothing the surface with the trowel along the texture direction. Complete each wall in a continuous operation.
Veneer decoration construction shall be in accordance with the requirements of design and style for grain production, the construction process varies with different decorative styles, and it will be subject to on-site guidance process.
