Features & Benefits
· Safe, easy and fast installation.
· No need for special equipment and flame.
· Excellent initial and long term adhesion.
· Direct application on wet substrate.
· Excellent mechanical resistant, such as high tensile strength, good puncture and tear, and high nail shank tear strength, good dimensional stability.
· Resistant to chemical corrosion: Resistant to most soil conditions, the membrane is designed to provide effective protection against soils and groundwater.
Application Instructions
Surface Preparation: Surfaces should be structurally sound and free of voids, loose aggregate and sharp protrusions. Remove contaminants such as grease, oil and wax from exposed surfaces.
Priming: Before application, substrate should be sprayed or rolled with solvent/water-based primer fully.
Membrane Application: Application on the Horizontal Surfaces: Place the membrane to application area. Roll out or kick out the membrane to release the stress. Apply membrane from the low point to the high point so that laps shed water. Adjacent rolls are aligned and overlapped a minimum of 80mm at the side and ends with a roller or firm hand pressure to ensure complete adhesion and continuity between the layers. Stagger all the end laps. Roll the whole membrane firmly and completely to eliminate air pocket.
Vertical Surfaces: Terminate the membrane at grade level. Press the membrane firmly to the wall. Failure to use heavy pressure at terminations can result in a poor seal. A termination bar may be used to ensure a tight seal.
Protection: Keep the membrane clean and free outside damage.
Backfill: Place backfill as soon as possible. Take care during backfill operation to avoid damage to the waterproofing system. Backfill should be added and compacted in 300 mm to 500 mm lifts. A protection of the membrane should be considered.
· Areas in contact with the earth such as slabs & basement walls.
· All underground structures.
