Description

PMT-3030P is a thermoplastic polyolefin waterproofing membrane that is made with Lyondell Basell Hifax Series TPO special high-quality resin and a polyester mesh reinforced fabric as the base layer. It is backed with special characteristics such as flame retardant, light shielding & light stabilizer and antioxidant. It has excellent weathering properties, which allows it to be used either as a concealed or exposed system.

Application Method

· Substrate preparation: Substrates must be clean, dry, smooth, and free of sharp edges, fins, loose or foreign materials, oil, grease, and other.

· All roughened surfaces that can damage

the membrane shall be repaired as specified to offer a smooth substrate.

· All surface voids greater than 6.3 mm wide shall be properly filled with an acceptable fill material.

· All laps & joints shall be heat welded with a proper hot air hand gun under roller pressure.

· The membrane shall be laid in a predetermined position. It shall be smooth and straight without twisting and crossing.

· The membranes are mechanically attached to the substrate with approved plates and fasteners.

Detail treatments.

· Termination of membrane can be done by special flashings or as advised by the manufacturer.
